I completed my Bachelor degree from the European School of Physiotherapy in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Since then the variety of experience I have gained is from working in private clinics (Therapies for Kids in Sydney and Cordes Fysio in the Netherlands) and in hospitals (Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital orthopaedic department in London, CoRSU paediatric hospital in Uganda and the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital in Cape town), in addition to working with several rugby, football and other sports teams throughout my training.
My clinical experience is in paediatrics and orthopaedics, where I have treated patients with varying conditions from cerebral palsy, developmental delays, torticollis and plagiocephaly, to post surgery arthritic replacements, sports injuries and back pain.
During my diagnostic process I take a holistic approach, using special tests or certified assessments to narrow down the cause of the patient’s complaint or the root of a child’s difficulties. My therapeutic approach is hands on, using massage, manipulation and detailed strengthening exercise programmes to relieve pain and treat the causal issue.
I’m an enthusiastic physiotherapist who takes a lot of pride from delivering quality care to my patients, of all ages. I look forward to working with you.
